Meet the Doctor
Dr. Matthew MacLeod
I was raised in Kentville, and am delighted to be back in the Annapolis Valley with my wife, Marla, to work and raise our two daughters. After high school I received my Bachelors degree from Acadia University, my Dental degree from Dalhousie and my Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of Toronto in 2011.
I am a past president of the Annapolis Valley Dental Society and currently serve as secretary/treasurer of the Atlantic Orthodontic Association. I value healthy active lifestyles and enjoy biking, hiking, skateboarding and paddle boarding. To help encourage active living for the young people in our community, I started a local non-profit association in 2013 to help build awareness and raise money for a permanent skateboard park in Kentville.
I look forward to finding more ways to engage with my community in the years to come and appreciate the opportunity to give back.
Our Staff
Our 6-member staff has decades of combined experience in delivering orthodontic specialty care. With two full-time registered dental hygienists, one full-time registered dental assistant, two front desk staff and a dedicated practice manager we have the right people in place to make your patient experience as seamless as possible, from your first ‘new patient exam’ visit through to post-treatment follow up care.
